A: There are plenty of variables to consider – the overall number of web files, the size of the database, the complexity of the website itself and the present workload of our website migration experts, etc. Having said that, we do our best to perform all web site migrations in a 48–hour period. Smaller web sites are transferred faster – typically in under 24 hours.

A: We don’t request any sensitive data. We’ll need, however, the login information for your present web hosting account along with the name of the website that you wish to transfer.

A: Before we can begin the migration of your web hosting account, you must first open an account with us. Opening an account with us will require that you to disclose exactly the same information you have given to your present web host. We also have an extremely rigid Privacy Policy, which describes how sensitive info is tackled.

A: Nah. Your website will stay completely operational during the transfer. As soon as everything is completed on our end, we’ll inform you so that you can examine it and check for any problems. If everything’s fine, all you will have to do is edit your domain name’s DNS records.

A: Nah. Aside from your login info for the Control Panel, we don’t require anything. We’ll never contact your web hosting provider. They will not know anything about the migration either.

A: We can migrate your web site from any hosting provider or any Linux–based web hosting platform provided that we can access the Control Panel and there’s FTP access available.The only web sites that we can’t transfer are the ones based on closed–source software apps such as Wix, BaseKit, Jimdo, Website Tonight, Four Square and Mr Site.
