Custom Error Pages in Hosting
You will be able to set up custom made error pages for each of your domains or subdomains. The feature is supported by all hosting plans that we provide, so as soon as you log in to the Hepsia Control Panel and check out the Hosted Domains section, you may click on the Edit button for a domain/subdomain and in the pop-up that will show up, you may select the kind of error page which should show up - a default one from our system, a standard Apache web server page or a personalized one. For the latter option, you must assign the URL to the page, so when you use customized pages, you have to upload the files in your web hosting account first. Another way is to use an .htaccess file positioned inside the domain or subdomain folder with a line for every error type. The correct syntax can be found in our Knowledge Base, so you can use this function even if you do not have any previous experience.
Custom Error Pages in Semi-dedicated Hosting
Including your own pages for any of the four error types to any web site hosted inside a semi-dedicated server account with us will be very easy and shall not take more than a couple of mouse clicks. After you upload the files inside your account, you could check out the Hosted Domains section of your Hepsia CP and edit the domains and subdomains listed there through an intuitive interface with drop-down menus. You can pick what page should show up for each and every error type. Your options are a standard Apache server page or a page from our system, and tailor-made pages. If you choose the abovementioned option, you will need to enter the link to each page in your account, then save the change. The link or the sort of page that will appear in case a user encounters an error can be changed at any time. If you are more experienced, you may use an .htaccess file to set personalized error pages as well, as opposed to using our integrated generator instrument, and should you select this option, the file has to be located in the root directory of a particular domain or subdomain.
