Multiple OS in VPS Web Hosting
We offer you three different Linux distributions for the Operating System of our virtual private servers - Debian, CentOS and Ubuntu. These are among the most stable and reliable OSs available on the market and we provide all 3 rather than only one as we realize that you might want to install some software with specific requirements regarding the Operating System it shall run on. The latter is because each of the three Operating Systems has a large support community behind it and there're different software programs you can install on the web hosting server. Your OS selection will also determine exactly what hosting Control Panel can be set up on the VPS if you would like to use one and that is why we offer multiple Control Panels too. If you ever decide that you want some other OS, our tech support can quickly wipe the existing one and set up the one that you need. We also offer an optional service to keep the OS on your VPS updated weekly.
Multiple OS in Dedicated Servers Hosting
We offer three Operating Systems with our dedicated server packages - CentOS, Ubuntu and Debian. They're all different Linux distributions and we offer them not only because they're 100 % free and they won't increase the low price of your new web server, but also because they are outstandingly stable and secure. Each one of them is supported by a vast community of web developers, so you will be able to choose from a large number software packages that you can install on your server in case the app that you want to use has certain requirements. The Operating System will also determine what internet hosting Control Panel you can use since the Control Panels that we offer run on specific OSs only and because we would like to give you as much versatility as possible, we offer multiple OSs and multiple Control Panels. In case you get a server with a certain OS, we can change it upon request if it turns out that you'll need another one. We will also keep the OS updated on a weekly basis as a part of the additional Managed Services upgrade.
